Lead initially by Hideaki Shiramizu (白水秀明), Group MOW (sometimes slated as 'Manga Original Workers') published massive anthologies of doujinshi works that were sold at several hobby shops and art galleries located in Fukuoka. Among them were several prominent artists who went on to do a variety of important commercial works, however, the group pertained of both male and female otaku. With a massive number of contributors, the print quality of these works are substantial and feature both professional and amateur artists alike. Vol. 1 of this particular imprint was acquired from my trip to Nakano last month for about $5. This particular journal features a variety of themes for what could be deemed then as 'lolita' content - the works vary from bishoujo works to extreme depictions of lolicon.

As this was published on August 28th of 1983, this work did not make it to Comiket, but was sold independently at a variety of hobby shops and via subscription. A newsletter was announced to be coming next Spring as the publication would be irregular as the team, which pertained of over 40+ members, intended to continue MOW's mainline imprint, Magazine of Comics MOW. MOW seemingly ran for over 40+ issues.
