One of the rarest, highly covetable Gundam BL doujins from three of the most important members of the Aniparo scene of the late 1970s to early 1980s. This series was created by the circle Let's Play Around With Char (シャアをネタに遊ぼう会, sometimes 'Char's Play Party') which pertained of the author Lcy (Lucy in some publications), Shio Sato (the novelist Simone Yotsuya) and the letterer Ryutei (Ryutei-an, Tome Tome, Retention, though usually Romanized as Ryutei). At the time of publication, this particular book was released October 30th of 1980. Shio was a member of the group NORMAL and REX at the time as a contributor and would later exhibit works at Comiket by December 14th of that year.

This doujin series follows the exploits of Char Aznable and his rise to his fame and fortune within the Zeon military. Some earlier editions are written by Shio, though in most respects, she takes on illustrating Lcy's story. If anything, these novels are mostly Lcy's doing. In this particular issue, Char's exploits before the One Year War are documented as well as several epilogues of those who he willingly seduces and betrays.

Additional context:

Many of these books were not sold at Comiket due to their contents, and as it would be, organizing to sell these works was often a very underground effort. The back of this text boasts additional insights that I've run across before, such as a collection of Rio Yagizawa personal Gundam doujin works that would only be sold to members associated with the group and those who paid via mail order.

"J.F.C, and Perverted Alliance, will finally publish a personal magazine next spring. It's made up of anime and prickly scenes, and there's even a first novel! Uea, Todome, and Shio will also be friends (collaborators)." Julie (Jerry) Asakura is noted to be the treasurer of the group on the financial end.

Additionally, the collaborative book, "The Day Garma Died" was slated to be released by Feburary of 1981 via mail order.
